    Great collection of sugar-free low-carb recipes!, May 29, 2014

    Dana Carpender and Caitlin Weeks have written a great book for people who follow a low-carb, grain-free lifestyle yet crave some of their former high-carb comfort foods. The recipes are easy to follow, and most of the ingredients are familiar and readily available at natural foods grocery stores or through Amazon. It’s great to have Paleo options that can be modified to be lower in carbs by substituting another ingredient, i.e., replacing banana with berries. I also appreciate that the primary sweeteners used are xylitol, Swerve (erythritol blend), and stevia. Just a few recipes I’m looking forward to trying are Eric’s Barbecue Sauce, Nacho Cheese Crackers made with sunflower seeds, and Pumpkin Pancakes that contain only 2 grams of usable carbs each.

    Wonderful resource for real food low-carb treats!, June 12, 2014

    The thing that I love about this book is that it uses mostly natural real food ingredients for these recipes instead of artificial sweeteners and other processed low-carb foods. I love that it also includes paleo friendly recipes too. It’s a great resource for anyone who is trying to cut down on sugar and carbs. Caitlin’s keto fat bombs are amazing and so are her chocolate chip cookies. I can’t wait to make more of these delicious healthy recipes!
