I was really excited when I saw these at Target. Savory kind bars have to be a hit, right? This flavor is a bit weird. My husband abandoned it immediately in disgust. I picked it up and enjoyed a couple of bites, but then the horseradishy flavor in the mustard started to get gross. For bite sized snacks (1/4 bar), I give it the thumbs up. For a whole bar, I’ll pass. We have the jalapeno too, but i may need a couple of days to work up the nerve to try it. I’m one to power through something even if I don’t like it. We are frequent eaters of kind bars and this is our first exposure to the savory variety.

I initially LOVED the Honey Smoked BBQ KIND bar, but I overdid it with the 12 pack. After one every other day or so for the last couple weeks, …we need a break. I can barely stomach it now. Fault of my own. As with everything, moderation!

…though I do believe I could survive solely on the Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt bar. Mmm!

I really like these! The Honey Barbeque is my favorite. I love that they are gluten, dairy and soy free. I get tired of sweet protein bars and these fit the bill 🙂
