   I bought these for extra calcium. As I do low carb, they fit into my plan well. They taste good and are quite palatable. Would recommend.

   However unexciting this subject is, Tums are extremely effective, plus they provide a boost of calcium. This sugar-free version is efficient and easy on the ol’ chompers. Between spicy food and stress, this product is a reliable staple in our home. Unfortunately, local stores can’t seem to keep it stocked on their shelves, the demand is so high. I’m glad we can get ’em from Amazon. Good luck, and savor that boudin in Miss Kay’s Duck Commander Kitchen!

   This particular antacid has a smoother texture than the sugar based versions of Tums, though not quite like Rolaids sort of smooth. The orange flavor is not overly strong, either. And though it does have 1 gram of carbohydrates, it is in the form of Sorbitol, a sugar alcohol, which ought to have less impact on insulin response, and be discounted in diets which tract glycemic index or count carbohydrates.
